Competition and Prizes

Most who play on a Peripatos Day are looking for a day out with friends on a course they play occassionally with some element of competition. There will be team and individual competitions along with nearest the pins. No longest drives as that is unfair on half those playing as they have very little hope of out driving the likes of JS and AH when they are playing although hitting the fairway is preferred.

On any particular Perpatos day the competition and prizes will depend on the number playing but broadly it will be something like this . . .

Gold Peripatos Pins will be awarded each day to members of the winning team.

There are 24 Gold Peripatos Pins to be won, 6 for an individual during the year. How many can you collect over the season? Chris Grimes, who was in the winning team each day in 2016, will have collected 6.

Season

For the season as a whole all individual Stableford scores will be recorded for each round and used to determine the Order of Merit (done our own way), best average score on par 3, 4 and 5 holes. See below for how the awards are sorted out.

Order of Merit

The sum of an individuals best 3 rounds during the season. Could just as easily be the best average score over 3 rounds.

Pars For each round the average score on the par 3, 4 and 5's are recorded. The sum of a players best 3 average scores for each of the pars during the season is then used to determine a winner for each of the pars.
